New, integrated reward and benefits schemes are designed to meet varied and changing employee needs around the world by introducing individual choice and flexibility. For example, at one stage in life, extra holiday time may be a more attractive option than a bigger contribution towards a pension; the opposite may be true later on.

As these schemes are developed and implemented on a country-by-country basis, we communicate widely with employees to ensure understanding of the total remuneration package and to get feedback that helps us build on best practice for the future.
